The B3 is a production grinder specifically
for diamond wheels. Features a high-torque,
1/2 HP ball bearing motor that permits
heavy loading without slowing. Corrosion
resistant design—motor is totally enclosed,
base is powder-coated aluminum. Molded
plastic wheel guards snap on and off for quick wheel changing. For roughing
and smoothing, 100 and 600 grit wheels are popular. For beveling, an 8"
(203mm) wheel will generate a curve with a radius as small as 1-1/2" (38mm),
whereas a 6" (152mm) and 4" (102mm) wheel will produce an inside radius as
small as 1" (25mm) and 1/2" (25mm) respectively.
